Georgia on My Mind

So love is the air  as we are looking forward to 2 weddings  in our family this year. Shawn's sister, Alicia, and my brother, Rob, found the loves of their lives and we are overjoyed for them all.  And the great thing about weddings are all  the reasons to have parties until the" big day" arrives!

So our "Georgia Girl" moved to West Point with her "Soldier Boy" at the end of this summer. And of course I had to paint them a little something to remind them of all our southern love.

Then it was time to celebrate  " Miss to Mrs" in all pinks and roses. So I made Lindsey, my soon-to-be new sister, a  chalkboard tray that she could personalize any way she likes down the road. And while it may have her " Miss" monogram for now, that " C' will easily change to "O" in about 2 months!!

For more about their love stories and to see their beautiful faces check out their amazing blogs.

Playing Catch Up

So I've been gone a few months but that is not due to my lack of things to share. I've probably had too much to share hence my writer's block with this blog. So the next few posts will be " Catch Up", if that's really  possible.

So our school ended and a new one has already started back and I haven't posted one thing about all  our days in between, so here is a snapshot.
